Silk Halo Shawl
Errata for ebooks downloaded prior to June 9, 2014:
Part 3 Large Version:
Row 17: ssk, (yo, ssk) x 6, sssk, yo, k8, cdd, k8, yo, k1.
The shawl is knitted sideways in one piece and uses short rows (no wraps) to curve slightly. The lace pattern is simple (yo, ssk, k2tog, cdd, and the payoff is high, since the pattern forms after the first few rows.
There are some short rows that require turning in the middle of a row and leaving stitches behind, but these are easy since there are no wraps required.
The yarn I use is Silk Halo, a wonderful fingering weight mohair/silk single-ply yarn, that takes to the dye in an intense way, I used just one skein. You can use other Artyarns yarns, and I’m curious to see how they will work.
You can choose to make the small or large version. You will get instructions for both. You’ll need 2 skeins of Silk Halo for the large.
