A great first foray into crescent shawls; works up fast in garter stitch and fingering or worsted weight yarn. The self-striping, no-knots gradient yarn shifts from color to color seamlessly. Sit back and let the yarn shine in this meditative knit.

Yarn used:
Opulence (fingering weight): 430 yards/100g
Ringmaster (worsted weight): 280 yards/150g

Use Knitcircus fingering weight yarn, Opulence, with size 6 needle (or the needle you need to achieve the fabric you like) or use any of Knitcircus’ fingering weight yarns: Trampoline, Greatest of Ease, Lavish, or Fairy Dust.

We used a 100g cake of yarn, which is 440 yards, but it’s easy to modify this shawl: if you have less yardage, simply bind off earlier, and if you have more yardage, just knit for longer before bind off.

OR

Use Knitcircus worsted weight yarn, Ringmaster, with size 9 needle (or the needle you need to achieve the fabric you like). We used a 150g cake of yarn, which is 280 yards.
