We came across these incredible hand-dyed silk ribbon yarns and I knew they needed to be made into a cowl. So I designed this cotton cowl and wove the different ribbons into it to add texture and color!

This beautiful fashion accessory is knit using hand-dyed cotton, and the silk ribbon is woven into the eyelet rows after the knitting. The hand is really drapey and this cowl is definitely an all-season accessory cause the cotton is light and lofty.

Pattern is simple enough for a beginner. Uses knits and purls only. Finished dimensions 7 inches by 64 inches.
Perfect for the knitter (or your friend!) who is vegan or allergic to animal fibers.

The kit comes in three different colors: olive, steel gray and purple. The ribbons are variegated and differ with each kit!
