Silken Scarf
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
Recommends either 2 ounces of silk caps, pulled and knit without spinning (directions included) or 4 ounces of fingering yarn (commercial or handspun). Shown in pulled silk caps (on the lady) and in Totally Tubular handspun (in reds and browns).
Gauge is not an issue, the main thing you want is a good needle size so the scarf drapes well -- the needle size is much larger than the yarn it is used with to give the drape result.
Knitting instructions in two widths, 14 and 21 inches wide; scarves are 60-72 inches long.
