A perfect Christmas Skirt! (or any other time for that matter)

This skirt uses Katia Rizos, a ribbon yarn with a ladder edge. This yarn is not knitted in a traditional “yarn” fashion. Instead, only the ladder portion is used to actually knit, allowing the ribbon to form a ruffle as it is worked. Alternated with another yarn, this makes a great layered, ruffle skirt.

Pattern is sized to fit 4-6; 6-8 with a finished skirt waist of 53cm (58.5cm): 21”(23”) and is intended to fit with some negative ease. The waist of the skirt has the option of either using an adjustable elastic or using elastic to reinforce the inside of the waistband of the skirt, ensuring that it doesn’t fall down with wear. I think that the smaller size skirt would still fit a 2-3 yr old with the adjustable waist option.
