My daughter wanted a Christmas sweater but I seem not to be inspired by all the ugly Christmas jumpers out there. After a chat it turns out all she wanted was a sweater with some colour and long cuffs to keep her hands warm. She pointed at some neon yarn I had in my basket and I thought that could actually work! here is the grey and neon sweater, my humble interpretation of an ugly Christmas sweater, she approves!

Size:
3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12 years


Materials and Notions:
Any light worsted weight yarn, I used Stylecraft special DK in silver and Paintbox Yarns simply DK in neon pink, neon yellow and seville orange.
Silver:
Sizes: 3/4 and 5/6, two and half skeins
Sizes 7/8, 9/10, 11/12: (3, 4.5, 5) skeins
1 ball of each of the neon colours.
Hook size H (4 mm)
Tapestry or yarn needle
