Silver Dollar

Silver Dollar is an all over lace shawl with a cable detail on the border to add interest. These cables reminded me of Silver Dollar seed pods and the shawl had a name!

I designed this shawl especially for my twin sister. She had two skeins of gorgeous precious yarn that she wanted to use (see her project page for her version of Silver Dollar).

The shawl has a relatively easy pattern repeat that produces a checkerboard lace. Pattern repeats can be adjusted to get the size of shawl you require. This pattern would also work with other weights of yarn.
