Silver Fir Shawl
This shawl is fun to crochet.
It’s simple but the fun stitch, easy increase rows, and stripes make it fun and relaxing to create.
I used 2 colors and I recommend using two colors that contrast well or fade well with one another.
The finished shawl should be blocked.
This shawl is great for advanced beginner crocheters wanting to dabble with fingering weight yarn.
It’s not too big but will keep you warm.
This can easily be wrapped once or twice around you.
Materials:
• 410 yards of MC in fingering weight 1 yarn
o I used Thistle and Hart’s in color way Aquarium
• 400 yards of CC in fingering weight 1 yarn
o I used Thistle and Hart’s in color way Pop Rocks
• 3.75 mm hook or size needed to obtain gauge
• Scissors
• Yarn needle
• Measuring Tape
• Stitch markers to help keep track of rows
• Blocking mats
• T-pins
Dimension:
Finished measurements are along the straight edge.
Before blocking: 60.5 inches long and 18.5 inches wide.

This shawl has been tested and one of my testers said this was like a good book and she didn’t want it to end.
