About the Pattern:

This pattern is for a luxurious knitted bonnet that is worked flat with a row of bobble stitches and then seamed together using the three-needle bind off. Video tutorials and a schematic are included for reference. This pattern includes the following sizes newborn (0 to 3 months, 3 to 6 months, 6 to 12 months, 1 to 3 yrs). Note: The 6 to 12 month and 1 to 3 years sizes are a looser fit.

Yarn:
Lion Brand Vel-Luxe Yarn in Dusty Pink (1 skein for 0 to 3 months) approximately 33 yards Size 4 Worsted Weight (100% Polyester, 246 yds/224 m, 5.3 oz/ 150 g);

Lion Brand Vel-Luxe Yarn in Silver (1 skein for 0 to 3 months) approximately 28 yards Size 4 Worsted Weight (100% Polyester, 246 yds/224 m, 5.3 oz/ 150 g);

Bernat Softee Chunky yarn in white (1 skein for 0 to 3 months) approximately 22 yards size 5 bulky weight (100% Acrylic, 108 yds, 3.5 oz/ 100 g)

Needles:
4.5 mm US 7 straight needles
One 5 mm US 8 straight needle
4.5 mm crochet hook or 4.5 mm double-pointed knitting needle for making i-cord

Notions:
Yarn needle
Scissors
Measuring tape
Pom-maker or ready-made attachable pom

Gauge:
Gauge is 16 sts over 32 rows in garter stitch = 4” square using 4.5 mm US 7 knitting needles.

Make sure to use the right size needles to meet gauge before beginning project!
