Silvery illume is the fourth pattern in the Tuvstarr Collection which celebrates the return of one of my favourite yarns, Faery Wings from Fyberspates along with the continuous beauty of its sibling, Curly Silk from Dibadu. Add the magical colours of DyeForYarn’s MoFluff and you have countless combinations to play with.

Silvery illume is a distant cousin of Isaura & Zenaura – the elegant lightness of the simple lace mesh is still in play; here paired with easy, squishy garter stitch stripes. Together they create a generous, asymmetrical triangle with stripes, textural playfulness and flair. Choose sombre or wilder colours as you please, and settle into some soothingly simple knitting.

Begin at the tip, knit mesh and garter stripes side by side until your yarn runs out or to desired size, then bind off along the upper edge.
