Silvery Sparkles Slippers
This pattern is suitable for a beginner and is written in simple terms in Australian/UK terms and US terms with descriptive photos.
This pattern also requires you to buy some hat elastic. I usually use white for light coloured yarn and black for dark coloured yarn.
I’m not too good at working out yardage so please only take what I’ve written here as a guide. I think it’s important to have slippers that are attractive, comfortable, inexpensive, hard-wearing and don’t fall off. I strive for these attributes.
You will also need:
about 75cm of hat elastic
a small amount of silver thread
10 shiny beads
2 necklaces with large chain – 45 cms long
3.50mm crochet hook (or one that is
small enough to fit through the chains in your necklace)
