Silvester Tee
Note: Sizes 13 and 16 have not been thoroughly tested! If you belong to one of these sizes, message me and I’ll send you the pattern for free.
The Silvester Tee is a somewhat fitted, classy and sparkly (!) tee with flowy sleeves, a folded mock neck and i-cord edges. The tee is knitted top down with a contiguous saddle shoulder construction and decreases around the waist.
Sizes: 1, 2, 3, 4 (5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) {11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16}
Bust circumference: approx. 75, 80, 85, 90 (95, 100, 105, 110, 115, 120) {125, 130, 135, 140, 145, 150} cm
Intended ease: approx. 0 cm (choose the size with the bust circumference closest to your own). If you are right in between two sizes, I recommend choosing the smaller one.
You can also size down for a tighter fit.
Length: approx. 48, 48, 48, 49 (49, 49, 50, 50, 50, 51) {51, 51, 52, 52, 52, 53} cm
Gauge: 26 sts x 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 3,5 mm needles after washing and blocking
Recommended needles: 3,5 mm circular needles (40, 60 and 80/100 cm) and 3 mm circular needles (40 cm)
Recommended yarn: 200, 200, 250, 250 (250, 250, 300, 300, 300, 300) {300, 350, 350, 350, 350, 400} g of Merry Merino 220 from Kremke Soulwool (50 g = 220 m) AND 50, 50, 50, 50 (50, 75, 75, 75, 75, 75) {75, 75, 75, 75, 75, 75} g of Stellaris from Kremke Soulwool (25 g = 560 m)
These two yarns should be held together at all times throughout the pattern.
Choosing your yarn:
When knitting the Silvester Tee, it is very important that you choose the right type of yarn to ensure that the tee gets a nice drape. If you want to knit with a different yarn than the original, I recommend choosing a fiber with a lot of drape, like alpaca or silk. I would NOT recommend choosing a more stiff or rustic yarn, like pure, untreated wool or cotton.
