The Simmonds Scarf is a confection of glittery glamour to cheer you through Winter. Let’s face it, you don’t have to be a drag queen to love a sequin. The sequins here are knitted in, which is easier than you might think (if a little fiddly to start with, but then isn’t all knitting fiddly to start with?). Following on from the sequins you have a section of Loopy Fur stitch before moving into classic Blackberry stitch.

We named this one Simmonds because we were dazzled by the sparkiness and sparkly personality of Ellie Simmonds, the astounding swimmer, in the Paralympics.

We used 3 skeins of Knit By Numbers, in col. KBN055 and 6 packets (approximately 450) 20mm (3/4”) sequins with large holes near the edge which makes threading them really easy.
