Simone Hat
Simone Hat is a warm hat that you can wear in a cold winter.
The construction is very simple but the texture is lovely and classy.
It’s for the advanced knitter or a beginner knitter.
Simone is worked in the round .
The pattern starts with a Tubular Cast on ( I included the instructions step by step) This method takes just a bit more steps than the regular Cast on but is so worth it.
If you never try it, I hope you do this time. If you don’t want to work a Tubular Cast on you can start with your preferred Cast on method.( I mentioned in the pattern how to do it if you use other than Tubular Cast on )
Then continues with 2x2 ribbing.
The body of the hat has a very nice texture, a type of a soft, very soft bubble .
This hat will keep you cozy and warm. I think you will enjoy knitting this pattern and you will knit it in no time .
Yarn
One bulky yarn and one fingering weight yarn
Photographed in Alafosslopi in a cream colour and Tanis Fiber Arts in Mona Lisa colourway
- The yarn will be held double
Notions
A different yarn if you use Tubular cast on, and a stitch marker
