Simon's Socks
I will donate 50% of the proceeds from the sale of this pattern to Alzheimer’s Canada in memory of my dad.
This sock pattern is especially close to my heart since it was inspired by my dad who passed away recently. My dad grew up in an era when handknit socks were the norm, and he continued to wear handknits throughout his lifetime.
Simon’s Socks are a tribute to my dad, and I know he would have loved this simple and classic pattern. I knit this pair in a beautiful blue yarn with rust coloured speckles, a colourway I know he would have loved very much.
A portion of the proceeds from this pattern will be donated to Alzheimer’s research as an ongoing fundraiser in memory of my dad.
I invite you to choose a very special skein of yarn and cast on a pair of Simon’s Socks for yourself, or for someone you hold dear to your heart.
These socks are knit top down, in the round but can be modified to be knit on circular needles or magic loop.
The heel is a traditional heel flap and gusset but you can knit any heel you like!
