Simple Autumn Mittens
Simple little mittens with an easy lace pattern.
Snugly fitting and perfect for chilly autumn days (pls read note on sizing below).
Instructions are both written and charted.
NOTE.
- These are snugly fitting mittens. I’ve noticed that they come out small for some knitters. Needle size 3-3.25 mm (US 2,5-3) might therefore be more accurate for some, or a bit heavier yarn.
- For those who want increased length, extra pattern repeats can easily be made.
- Many knitters prefer to make one pattern round before starting the thumb gusset.
- The pattern can easily be shortened to make fingerless mitts. Notes on that can be found here
Please note:* Rinsing and blocking is essential.
Thanks to all the knitters who allowed me to feature their wonderful photos!
