Simple Baby Socks
In order for the concept of the magic loop to work the needle must be a 32" or 40" circular.
Pattern Description from The Magic Loop: “Sarah’s Magic Loop really shines when making socks from the toe up. Stitches are cast onto the 2 needle points so the dividing step is skipped. Try it out on this simple sock.”
Size: Finished length 4” from heel to toe. Adjust foot length as desired.
Yarn Requirements: 90 yards of Shetland or sport wt yarn.
Needles: US Size 3 (3.25 mm) 32” or 40” (80 or 100 cm) circular needle.
Important Note: For the first two rounds the needle with yarn attached will be held below the other needle instead of behind it. After these rounds are complete you will again be able to use the standard home position with yarn coming from the needle held at the back.
