Whether you are new to sock knitting or are a seasoned pro that simply needs a palette cleanser, the Simple Basic Sock is simply that. This pattern is no frills, quick, simple, and back-to-basics. This is a vanilla sock pattern that will allow your beautiful yarn to be show-cased it in the way it should be.

This pattern utilizes Judy’s Magic Cast-On, German Short Rows, and Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy bind-off, for which, YouTube links have been included.

While this is a very simple vanilla pattern that can be created using one color, you can add some extra flair and jazz by using any combination of colors that you choose!

Yardage needed will vary depending on shoe size and length of cuff. A size nine shoe with a 4” Leg/Cuff used approximately 230 yards.
