This is a pattern I quickly developed after taking a class on knitting and purling backwards. I wanted a quick pattern that would both look good and give me equal practice knitting and purling. This is now my go-to travel pattern because it’s easy to learn and memorize. Great for working with those yarns where you want to show off the yarn without doing a plain vanilla stockinette pattern. Easily adaptable for any desired width (even up to an afghan if you want!) or any length. I prefer the seed stitch border because it makes the entire border more symmetrical, but you can easily switch out for a garter stitch border if you would like. This pattern has both written and charted instructions.
