This is a very simple design utilizing a simple combination of garter stitch and stockinette stitch. Great project for beginners!

This pattern does curl due to use of the stockinette stitch, but the 10 rows of garter in the middle help that! This is a pretty monotonous scarf to knit, but looks great when done!
