This bonnet will fit an average 9 - 12 month old baby.

It is a great beginner to intermediate project as it is knit in mostly stocking stitch. You will need to know how to cast on, knit, purl, knit two stitches together, and cast off. Other materials needed to complete this bonnet are: a tapestry needle, a measuring tape, a 5mm crochet hook to crochet the ties and a pair of scissors.

This bonnet’s simple construction and clean lines are a beautiful addition to your prop stash or for baby’s wardrobe. It has ample stretch.

PS - If you do not want to crochet the ties, simply attach a ribbon to each side (be sure to finish the ribbon ends so they don’t unravel!).
