A super simple cowl worked in the round using slipped stitches to form the colourwork - you use just one yarn per round.

We used Stylecraft Special Aran - 2 balls would make 2 cowls. But this project would be a great stash buster - each coloured section could use a separate yarn.

You could adapt this to your heart’s content: use a variegated yarn as the contrast, have more-or-less strips in the centre. Go mad! Have fun with it!
