This is a simple knitted coaster using the Brioche knit stitch pattern. This a great beginning project for getting comfortable with two-color Brioche, and it makes a lovely gift.

Yarn: One skein each in two contrasting colors of BLUE SKY FIBERS - ORGANIC COTTON: 100% organic cotton, 100 grams (150 yards) or QUINCE & CO. - WHIMBREL: 100% California Cleaner Cotton™, 100 grams (180 yards). Two skeins will make many coasters.

Needles: Straight or circular needles in US size 5 (3.75) or size 6 (4.0mm)

Notions: tapestry needle.

Gauge is not important for this pattern.

Finished measurements: approximately 3in(7.6cm) x 3in(7.6cm) depending on gauge
