Simple Cross Bookmarks

These bookmarks make extra-thoughtful gifts, with love and prayers in every stitch. A great use for small quantities of well-loved yarns. Choose ribbon or contrasting yarn to weave into the fabric, forming the cross. A tassel is an optional feature which adds a nice touch. Very simple!
The bookmarks shown in the 5th and 6th photos, which are made of teal blue silk-mohair, with green accent yarn, are made slightly differently from the pattern, showing another option: Knit the bookmark as straight stockinette stitch, then embroider the cross onto the right side with daisy chain stitch, in a contrasting color. Easy Peasy!
