Welcome to Stacey Namaste Designs. This beanie is part of my Time for Ease series. This series was inspired because I realized how relaxing it is to knit a non-complicated pattern with quick results, after knitting beanies for all of my family members for Christmas, and after a very stressful and challenging year. My beanie creation and knitting continued after the holidays, and it is a wonderful break from some of the more detailed patterns I typically knit. I hope you enjoy this pattern while sipping tea, listening to your favorite audiobook, catching up on your favorite television series, or just listening to music and relaxing. Also, several people requested an alternative style of stretchy brim rather than ribbing, with a looser style that is somewhat slouchy, due to thick/styled hair. I love the look and feel of this beanie. It is just lovely! Sometimes, less is more!

The photographed example is made with Hobbii Solid Winter Glow yarn in color Thistle (39). This fabulous mix of wool and soft acrylic is easy to work and is both warm and soft, along with durable. Approximately 185 yards (170 m) were used for this beanie, knitting in the round using 4mm/6 US and 5mm/8 US circular needles, a cable needle size 8 US, with double pointed needles for crown shaping. This simple but lovely beanie only uses Knit and Purl stitches, along with a few K2tog and P2tog in the crown shaping.
