4 mm long circular needle (however, it is knitted in rows not rounds). I used a 100 cm long circular needle, but you could squish all the stitches up on a long straight needle if you don’t have a circular needle.

You will hopefully be pleased to hear that as long as you maintain a similar tension throughout, then the tension isn’t as important as it is with other patterns.
