This shawl is designed for different types of yarn and with longer wings. The size of this shawl is not limited, you can knit any size you want, you can increase shawl by making more repeats of chart 2.

Yarn: from lace to sport-weight
Needles: take those which will suit your yarn weight

Techniques:
different increases like LLI, RLI, M1L, M1R,make 3 from 1 (k, yo, k at same st);
different decreases like ssk, k2tog, sk2p, k3tog;
5/5 - knit 5 sts together, don’t drop from left needle, yo, k same 5 sts together, yo, k same 5 sts together again.
