Simple Fancy
A square dishcloth, knitted in the round, from the inside out. Worked in stockinette st, shaped by regular raglan type increases, then finished with a picot bind off.
Put two of my dishcloth patterns into your cart and pay for only one! No code needed.
The pattern comes with charts as well as row by row written instructions, and directions on how to resize it into a larger item, e.g. baby blanket. An online version of the chart and its row by row instructions, with a progress tracker by Stitch Fiddle, is also included.
A humble little dishcloth, with just enough decorative elements to make is special. It’s an engaging knit, but not complicated enough to become stressful.
It makes a lovely gift, and the pattern can be used for larger items as well.

“- Fun quick and super fun and stunning when finished.”
“- Once I understood how and where the increases were to be placed it was a very fun pattern.”
“- It was a challenge for me, I did like the pattern and outcome.”
“- I thought it was well written, it was deceptive, in that for such a simple outcome there was a number of things to get your head around, but once I had, it came together really well.”
“- Over all I liked the pattern. I haven’t ever used double pointed needles. It took some time to get use to them.”
