This is, as the name implies, a simple pattern that makes a fish approximately 6” (15cm) long. Provided you have learnt your basic crochet stitches this can be made by a beginner.

Please note that I use English crochet terms. You will also need a darning needle and a small amount of stuffing.

There is no need to worry about gauge for this and you can make a shoal of fish using any leftovers of DK yarn that you have from larger projects. It looks great when several are made in different colours and hung together as a mobile.
