I’ve been successful making these with a G hook, using Caron Simply Soft as well as Vanna’s Choice yarns (worsted). They’ve been coming out appox. 3” long x 1” wide x 1 1/2” tall.

Make great cat toys when stuffed with catnip and my 2 yr old loves playing with them as well. We’ve been practicing counting with them :)
