When I looked for a simple full-length bow tie pattern, two here were close--but one has a neckband that is far too long while also having asymmetrical bows (when they are folded, the tapered edges do not line up), & the other involves making several pieces that are then sewn together. So I’ve written my own!

This original pattern design in US crochet terms may not be distributed or sold as your own, but feel free to sell a finished bow tie made from this pattern!

skills: know how to ch (chain) & sc (single crochet)

hook: G/4mm

yarn: Herrschners Holiday Sugar Plum in #12 Icy Blue, or Red Heart Soft, or any other Medium #4 worsted/aran weight yarn

size: any size!
