This is a very simple shawl great for beginners. Garter stitch and a little eyelet detail on the edge.
The gauge does not really matter but we recommend a US 5 needle or larger to get enough drape.
We used 3 balls of Debbie Bliss Eco Baby yarn for this pattern.The variegation gives it interest and the feel is soft and bouncy.
You could alternate variegated and solids to create stripes or a border.
