This pattern stemmed from wanting something that worked well for highly variegated colorways & to have something light to wear in warmer weather. It is a great beginner level pattern!

If you find your tension is too tight or too loose, feel free to try sizing up or down a hook size. This pattern has a lot of room for finding what works best for your style of crocheting. Gauge is not very important for this project. Your main objective here is to have a lacy & drapey fabric. The rest will fall into place!

This pattern uses a chainless foundation HDC cast-on. It is not necessary I just prefer this method the using the chain method. You could use a chain & SC into each chain then connect & follow instructions as written instead. For a video tutorial on chainless foundation cast on please visit YouTube and search for “Chainless Foundation HDC Cast On”.

Use either one skein of SweetGeorgia Yarns SeaSilk Lace or Yarn Love Princess Buttercup Fingering
