Skill level: Beginner. Mittens are knit from the cuff up in a single piece worked in the round on double pointed needles.
Size: To fit kids size Small: 6-8yrs, or Large: 8-10yrs old.
Materials: Worsted weight yarn. Approximately 120 yards required. Suggested yarn: Cascade
220, but any worsted weight yarn will do.
Needles: One set of US size 4 double pointed needle (or size needed to obtain gauge). Other: Stitch markers, stitch holders (or scrap of yarn), and a yarn needle.
Gauge: 28 stitches and 32 rows worked in Stockinette = 4” x 4” square on size US 4 needles.
