This shrug is knitted as a simple rectangle and sewn together with a collar added, making it look more complicated than it is. The simple knit and purl rows are easy for a beginner to master whilst being TV knitting for the more advanced. The structure is such that it can be made to fit any size following the instructions and a bit of simple maths.

Upto a UK size 14 can be made form 200g of DK.

Upto a size 18 requires 300g of yarn

Children sizes will reu=quire less, bigger than a size 14 will require more.

Long sleeves could also be added which will require more yarn.

This pattern can also be converted to be made with sock weight or aran if desired.
