Christmas is a wonderful time of year and it is important to remember the reason for celebration.

I love these beautiful dolls.
Free standing they make a beautiful tableau for the mantelpiece, shelf or table.

This design is deceptively simple with an intriguing way of creating an arm within a sleeve without lots of sewing or fiddly bits.
All the steps along the way are well written and the steps for attaching all the parts are all described in detail.

To recreate this toy in Aran use a 4 mm hook and increase wool amount by 60%.

To recreate this toy in Chunky use a 5 mm hook and increase wool amount by 200%.
