I was looking for a simple flower to offset my crochet poppies when I spotted Nemophila flowers (aka Baby Blue Eyes). I found it really fun & easy to recreate them in crochet form!

I experimented with a few different hook sizes. I think that a little bit of variation in the size of these flowers will make them appear more lifelike in a bouquet or flower crown.

You’ll need just a little skill with embroidery to add a finishing touch to these nemophila. I created the look of black stamen with french knots. I think you could skip this step and use a black sharpie to make little dots if french knots aren’t your thing.
