This is a simple sock pattern that you can work cuff-down or toe-up depending on your preference. The instructions for creating the simple no-wrap heel are the same for both. This pattern uses some basic sock features and can be inserted into any sock pattern to create a simple, classic, well-fitting heel. I like to use this method to add a complementary color to my main sock color to make the yarn pop. Don’t be afraid to get creative and add your own design elements to the socks or insert this heel pattern into another pattern of your choice. This pattern is for Cuff-down socks and uses a simple k1p1 ribbing, stockinette stitch leg and foot, a no-wrap simple heel and star/round toe. Have fun and enjoy your socks!
