This ingenious pattern is knitted flat in one piece, so minimises seaming up and there are no button bands to sew on.

The pattern is very easy to knit up as it’s knitted up entirely in garter stitch (knit all stitches.
Depending on the size you want to knit up the garment in,
you simply choose either dk (light worsted) yarn or Aran (Worsted) with the appropriate size of needle recommended for your yarn. The dk yarn will fit a baby 0-6 months, the Aran yarn will knit up to fit a baby 6-12 months and the Chunky yarn will fit a child 1-3 years.

The pockets are sewn on so if you prefer you can omit these.
