This pattern is done in a chain of 2 + 1 if you would prefer it were wider or you could add rows to it and it would still come out beautifully.

Since it is a rag I suggest sticking to 100% cotton yarns.

And since it is such a simple pattern with basic stitches, you can even change the size yarn if you’d like.
