This pattern is for classic ribbed socks, worked ‘top-down’ in a super stretchy 2 x 2 rib for an excellent fit.
The pattern uses a flap and gusset’ heel turn, before the toe is shaped with decreases, then seamed closed using the three needle bind off method. The sole of the socks is in plain knit stitch for comfort.

The instructions include 3 adult sizes.

The pattern has been designed to work with our hand dyed Folkestone Harbour Yarn Merino Blend sock yarn (75% superwash merino/25% nylon) which has 425m per skein. One skein will be sufficient for all sizes.
