There are many patterns for this type of hat. This version is just my notes for knitting hats for the annual hat project sponsored by my favorite yarn shop.

The hat is simple to knit in the round, and is a small project that can easily be carried with you to work on while you run the subway or wait for your doctor’s appointment, etc. Select an interesting yarn and the yarn does most of the work.
