Make to any length or width, just requires odd number of stitches.
Any aran weight yarn is suitable.
Hook size 5mm to 6.5mm would work.
Recommend about 200 grms for a medium length (70 inches) scarf approx 7 inches wide, on a 6.5mm hook. About 31 chain, 29 sts.
More yarn required for a wider scarf.
