While this pattern can be purchased for $3.00 on Ravelry, I offer it for FREE to all of my subscribes at www.thisknittedlife.com. Once you subscribe via email (it’s so easy to do!), you will automatically receive a copy of the pattern at no charge. I do not share your email. Aside from receiving regular blog posts two or three times each week, I only send additional emails once every month or so (at most) to offer subscribers additional discounts on patterns and free knitting resources and giveaway opportunities. I promise to make you laugh, even if I am sometimes crying. Knitting can be frustrating.

This is a perfect pattern for making good use of sock and fingering weight yarn left over from other projects. A versatile knit, this quick and easy project will fly off your needles and onto your lovely head.

Approximately 50 yards/meters of fingering weight yarn. Scrap yarn remaining after knitting a pair of ladies socks (remaining from a 425 yard/meter skein) should be enough. Use a size 2 or 3 needle, as desired. Gauge is flexible.

The pattern begins by casting on a mere six inches and has nice, clean slip-stitch edging. The main body of the hair wrap is a lovely botanical leaf motif.
