Please note this is NOT a complete pattern: this is an EXPANSION PACK for my Tortoise pattern. It includes all the modifications required to crochet a Tortoise (blunt nose) or freshwater Turtle or Terrapin (pointed nose) much more quickly than the original Tortoise, with a plain or decorative one-piece upper shell, and a same- or different-coloured lower shell. Mix-and-match between all the options!

Yarn: worsted weight yarn in two to four colours (brown, tan, beige, orange, green, black etc for a realistic tortoise/turtle/terrapin, or any other colours you like).

Hook: E US/3.5mm

Size: approx 8.5” (21.5cm) long

Eyes: 9mm
