This pattern is for simple ‘Vanilla’ style socks that includes 4 adult sizes (Small, Medium, Large, Extra
Large).

The pattern has been designed to work with hand dyed Folkestone Harbour Yarn Merino Blend
sock yarn (75% superwash merino/25% nylon) which has 425m per skein. One skein will be sufficient for all
sizes. If you intend to knit a longer leg than the pattern suggests, a second skein may be required.

Worked ‘top-down’, these socks are cast on at the cuff, then worked in the round to the heel. The heel is
formed by short rows, then the work is joined into the round again and the foot is worked in the round until
you reach the toe which is shaped with decreases, then seamed closed using the three needle bind off method.

Sizing: Adult S (M, L, XL) which equate to UK shoe size 3-5 (6-8, 9-11, 12-14).
