Simple Slouchy Crochet Toque / Beanie
Relatively new crocheters shouldn’t have too difficult a time with this pattern - it is quite a quick and simple hat. Feel free to make and sell any hats you make using this pattern!
One hat uses less than one skein of yarn. While I wouldn’t exactly call it a “stash buster” project (or as I like to refer to them, “Frankenstein projects”), it is a good project for using fractions of skeins if you are making them striped, as the ones in my photos.
Varying the number of rows before you begin the band will make the hat either more or less slouchy. Using finer yarn than worsted weight will result in a “floppier” hat. I like experimenting with different textures and colour combinations.
