The simplest, quickest hat a beginning knitter can make-- just the knit stitch, nothing more! Makes for a super fast knit. The bulky baby alpaca yarn feels luxurious and drapey when knit up loosely, and the amount of slouch can be controlled by how deeply you fold the brim.

There’s a slipped-stitch edging, which I think makes your project look much more finished & professional, but if it freaks you out, just knit every stitch instead of slipping the first.
