This is a very simple, quick pattern that will make a wiggly snake about 14” (35cm) long. Provided you know your basic stitches this could be made by a beginner.

Please note that I use English crochet terms.

There is no need to worry about gauge for this and you can make some exciting beasties in multi colours using up all your leftovers of DK yarn.

You will also need a small amount of stuffing and a darning needle.
