A simplified version of Ginnie’s Snood that I have used as a fundraiser for a “local to me” Greyhound rescue group.

I knit and donated over 100 snoods for their online shop who then transferred proceeds to assist in the costs of healthcare and feeding of fostered greyhounds rescued from the Victorian racing industry.

I am happy for you to use this pattern for your own purposes but please do not resell (the pattern) as if it were your own. By all means though, make as many as you wish that are then donated to a sighthound rescue group.

You will require:
DK yarn - at least 130 metres
OR
Fingering weight approximately double the length required of DK OR a combination of both

A 40cm (16”) 4mm circular needle for knitting in the round though you could easily modify for working on straight needles.

One stitch marker

Measuring tape

Tapestry needle for weaving in the ends

Take a look at the projects I have linked to see the wide variation of yarn that I have used.
